Linda is also able to offer one-on-one Reformer sessions at her home studio in Longworth, Oxfordshire. These have proved extremely popular either as an additional accompaniment to Pilates classes or as a regular exercise programme in its own right.
One-on-one sessions are particularly suitable to those people who have minor disabilities or are recovering from injury. They can also be useful for complete beginners prior to attending a full class, or for those people who feel a little uncomfortable in exercise classes for whatever reason
One-on-one sessions consist of an initial 90 minute consultation, which includes a full postural analysis, with subsequent sessions of an hour.

From the autumn of 2007, Linda is able to offer one-on-one Reformer sessions at her home in Longworth, Oxfordshire.
Though it can look quite intimidating, the Pilates Reformer is actually quite user-friendly and is an excellent method of exercise for the core muscle groups of the abdomen, lower back, hips and buttocks. It can also help to improve breathing and can help reduce stress and tension.
The Pilates Reformer is basically a sliding platform attached with springs which can be moved by being pulled by ropes or pushed off a stationary bar. The springs glide smoothly and are used to provide resistance to the muscles while exercising, in a way that reduces stress on tendons and ligaments. A wide variety of exercises can be performed in various positions: standing, sitting, kneeling or lying down.
Sessions takes place in Linda’s home studio. A one-off taster session can be booked, followed by blocks of five sessions, which can take place at your own convenience and needn’t be a set time each week.
